Hello, World!

I'm a software engineer and backyard AI scientist from Brazil, passionate about everything coding and AI. I currently develop the busiest chatbot in Latin America at Itaú, the region's largest bank and the main company of the biggest financial conglomerate in the Southern Hemisphere.

Over the last five years, I have taken on roles as a software engineer, data analyst, machine learning engineer, and applied scientist. My work has focused on NLP throughout this time - that is before ChatGPT! - and I have at some point contributed to every stage of the LLM application development cycle in different projects: from pretraining and finetuning foundational models, to building and deploying end-user applications at scale for millions of users.
